NEW – UPM12XHD w/UL- Listed Rails – Universal Post Mount by General Specialties
The NEW UPM-12XHD-UL includes UL-listed rails and holds a maximum array surface area of 175 sq. ft. It can hold 15 small PV modules (65-140 watts) or 9-10 larger “C-size” PV modules (60 cell). Made by General Specialties, the Universal Post Mount is the strongest you can buy. Adjusts easily to seasonal sun angle but two people are advised for safety. These Universal Post Mounts have a welded steel frame with 6061 aluminum rails for mounting PV panels. Designed for 35 lb./sq. ft. wind loading. Stainless nuts & bolts are supplied to attach modules. Grade 5 and 8 assembly hardware is included. Vertical base pipe is not supplied, you obtain it locally. Pipe size for this mount is 8″/Sched 40/80. The rack and base pipe are heavy enough to require a tractor for assembly in most cases. If you have any questions, please call us to discuss proper pipe sizing before installation. Very easy to assemble, great instructions with pictures included, holds panels securely for decades.
