Eclipse LTO (Li2TiO3) batteries offer longer life span, greater depth of discharge and decreased size and weight over conventional lead acid batteries. LTO batteries are rated for operation in extreme temperatures. The sophisticated Eclipse Battery Management System (BMS) provides active cell management for impressive discharge and recharge efficiency. Bluetooth monitoring with your mobile device is available via a downloadable app. Eclipse LTO batteries are sealed so out-gassing is eliminated; no active venting is needed. There is no need to maintain water levels or take hydrometer readings. Ease of installation and operation in even the harshest temperatures make the Eclipse LTO battery as close to a zero maintenance lithium battery that we have come across.
The Eclipse 48V-80Ah LTO is a great “drop-in” replacement for your 48 volt AGM battery bank used in a remote seasonal off-grid home, a battery based backup for grid-tie systems in freezing climates, stand alone commercial applications, or traffic signage; wherever environmental extremes will damage or destroy other types of batteries. With a cycle life of up to 20,000+ cycles this is likely the last battery you need to buy! (Cycle life may vary based application and operation).
