The Victron Energy Orion-Tr 48V to 48V 8A DC-DC Converter is a powerful isolated DC-DC converter with advanced features and remote on/off capabilities in a compact enclosure. It is designed for off-grid, grid-tied battery backup, marine, and RV applications.
Features include adjustable output voltage, the ability to charge a starter battery, short-circuit protection for unlimited parallel operation to increase output current, high-temperature electronic protection, easy installation, and Victron Energy’s proven reliability.
The remote on/off feature eliminates the need for a high-current switch in the input wiring. It can be operated using a low-power switch or, for example, an engine run/stop switch.
