Victron Energy MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 2x120V VE.Bus Pure Sine Wave Inverter/Charger (UL-458)

The Victron Energy MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 2x120V combines a true sine wave inverter, an adaptive battery charger, and a high-speed 50A AC transfer switch in a single compact enclosure. It is certified to the UL 458 standard.

The AC input can be supplied from either a split-phase 120/240V source or a single-phase 120V source. When AC power is available, the MultiPlus-II passes the incoming AC through to its output, allowing the output to mirror the AC input.

In inverter mode, the MultiPlus-II provides 120V single-phase output and connects both output lines, L1 and L2, together to supply 120VAC loads on either line. Any 240V loads are supplied only when the unit is connected to a split-phase AC source. This helps prevent high-demand 240V loads, such as water heaters or air conditioners, from discharging the battery while operating in inverter mode.

Advanced features include dual AC outputs, parallel operation for increased power, split-phase and three-phase capability, and PowerAssist technology to supplement shore or generator power when needed.

When paired with a compatible GX device, such as the Cerbo GX, the MultiPlus-II can be monitored and controlled locally or remotely through Victron Energy’s VRM platform. Users can access system information and controls from a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. Remote functions can include system monitoring, inverter settings, and automatic backup generator control.
