The Victron Energy MultiPlus 12/500/20-16 combines a true sine wave inverter, an adaptive battery charger, and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact enclosure. This newer MultiPlus design replaces the earlier MultiPlus Compact range and is well suited for off-grid, backup power, marine, RV, and other mobile power applications.
The MultiPlus includes UPS functionality for uninterrupted AC power. If grid, shore, or generator power is lost, the inverter automatically activates and supplies connected loads in less than 20 milliseconds, allowing computers and other electronic equipment to continue operating without disruption.
When paired with a compatible GX device, such as the Cerbo GX, the MultiPlus can be monitored and controlled locally or remotely through Victron Energy’s VRM platform. Users can access system information and controls from a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.
