MC4 Connector with Boot - Female Size 2 MC4 Connector -only- for making your own custom cables. Female MC4 connector end for 10/12 gauge wire with outside diameter (insulation) of 5.5 to 9 mm. Connector typically bought in bulk by installers to make custom length PV cables. Requires MC4 crimping tool, not sold by Backwoods. Can be found online. Common point of confusion: Male/Female convention refers to the metallic connections internal to the plastic housing, not to the shape of the plastic housing itself.
