Magnum PT-100 MPPT Charge Controller – 100A, 12/24/48V

The Magnum PT-100 MPPT Charge Controller is designed to maximize usable energy from a solar array and efficiently deliver that power to the battery bank.

Using Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology, the PT-100 continuously tracks the PV array's maximum power point while regulating charging current up to 100A. It supports 12V, 24V, and 48V battery systems with automatic battery voltage detection.

The controller also includes an integrated programmable auxiliary relay, built-in system protections, and internal data logging for long-term energy harvest and battery performance tracking.

  • Field-Upgradable Software: Controller software can be updated on-site.
  • Front-Panel Display: Multiple LED indicators and a large digital display provide easy access to system status and operating information.

  • Reverse-current protection at night
  • PV arc-fault detection and interruption
  • PV ground-fault detection and interruption

Installation

The PT-100 is designed for use with compatible Magnum Panel (MP) and Mini-Magnum Panel (MMP) systems.

A dedicated, remain-in-place wiring box allows system wiring to be installed before the main PT-100 controller is mounted, simplifying installation and service.

The system also provides space and access for compatible PV and battery disconnect breakers.
