Flowlight Standard Speed (1/2HP) 48V Booster Pump - Model 2930-48 This rotary vane pressure pump uses one third to one half the energy of conventional AC pressure pumps and eliminates the high starting surges which push inverters to their limit.  Flowlight Model 2930 is only available in 48 volts DC.  Designed for use with battery banks; NOT solar direct. These 16.5" pumps are more powerful, quieter, and much more durable than the less expensive Shurflo diaphragm pumps.  Wearing parts are replaceable, and typically last 5 to 10 years.  Overall life expectancy is 15 to 20 years.  The Flowlight pumps are the BEST choice for pressurizing a full time off-grid residence.  A large pressure tank(40 gallons minimum), locally available, must be used.  We would also advise that this pump be installed in an outdoor pump house with your pressure tank, as the rotary vane action of the pump may be too noisy for some in home applications.

DC Pumps will deliver up to 5.0 gpm at 65 psi using 264 watts.

The EZFLOW Installation Kit and Inline Filter Kit are considered essential equipment and will make this pump simple for anyone to install and service. The Installation kit includes a pressure switch, pressure gauge, check valve, drain valve, T fitting, shut-off valve and pipe nipples.

The Dry Run Switch prevents damage should your water source run dry. Essential protection if water shortage is a possibility as this pump will be ruined if it runs dry.  Do not allow this pump to run dry!  Dry Run Switch may be added at anytime.
