Single 12 gauge stranded copper 600 volt PV wire has tough sunlight resistant insulation.
Backwoods specifically stocks this wire for use with the Solarworld 145 watt panels that have a traditional junction box that requires the owner to provide their own wire. The 12 gauge sizing fits through the narrow strain relief points in the panel’s junction box.
A single wire can makethe simplest series connection between multiple modules for 24 or 48 volts. Purchase twice the length for parallel (+) and (-) connections. Allow about 30 inches per module for series connections, plus length to combiner box.
