120 VAC external thermostat. Converts a freezer to a refrigerator. Plug your freezer into the thermostat, and the thermostat into the wall. Has a built-in temperature probe that is placed into the freezer/refrigerator compartment, and a dial for fine-tuning the temperature. Backwoods has used one in the recent past with a Sundanzer F-165(AC/DC model), running it as a refrigerator, maintaining a temperature of 36 F with a daily power consumption of 167 watt hours per day.
Note: the unit functions by disconnecting power to the freezer when the compressor is not running, therefore any compartment lights will NOT come on when the compressor is not running.
Attached 8′ cord included.
